The Keniesha R. Beatty Memorial Community Development and Empowerment Center is a living tribute to the life, dreams, and compassionate spirit of Keniesha Rochelle Beatty. Founded in May 2010 by her devoted parents, Rev. Michael and Jeanine Hadnot, this nonprofit organization was established to carry forward Keniesha’s passion for helping others, despite the tragic loss of her life in a car accident.
Keniesha’s resilience in overcoming life’s challenges and her unwavering kindness toward those in need inspired the mission of this organization. Dedicated to uplifting individuals and strengthening communities, the Keniesha R. Beatty Memorial serves as a beacon of hope and support for those facing adversity.
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we are committed to providing essential resources and services that empower individuals and enhance their quality of life. Our initiatives include:
✔ A fully operational food pantry to combat food insecurity
✔ Educational programs, including computer literacy training
✔ Health and safety seminars and vaccine opportunities
✔ Mentoring programs to guide and support individuals
✔ Community outreach efforts that foster growth and opportunity
At the heart of our work is a dedication to service, resilience, and empowerment—values that Keniesha embodied throughout her life. Through the commitment of our volunteers, donors, and community partners, we continue to honor her legacy by making a tangible difference in the lives of those we serve.
Join us in keeping Keniesha’s vision alive—because together, we can uplift, inspire, and transform communities.
